pokemon au/new region stuff

HERP DERP THIS IS PLATEA IT'S MADE OF HILLS AND PLAINS (no it's not spain and the rain does not fall gently BC ). There are also volcanos, and the main villain made some explode, destroying quite a few towns, and killing people. Why? Because fuck modernisation, that's why.

WELCOME TO PLATEA :D

It is the land to the north of Kanto and Johto, and is a hell of a lot more rugged than those two regions.

WATER

To get to the gym leader, you have to go and investigate a sunken temple in a lake, which requires both Surf and Dive. Happily for everyone, this gym is the third one along the circuit, and the first two gyms give out those TMs.

Once you've found him, you return to the surface, and proceed to the gym. Oh, did I mention that the gym is filled with puzzles that you have to navigate twice? (troll.jpg)

CLIFFSIDE GYM AWW YEAH. Rock Climb or Surf/Waterfall is needed to just bloody access it, and it's sort of like Unova's Victory Road in that there is a lot of climbing and sliding going on.

Gym leader is actually the head of the Rider Corps (aww yeah) and is a man. He's also really fucking annoying to fight despite having a bunch of weaknesses.

THIS DOUCHEBAG. He tries to seduce everything that fucking moves (and some that don't)! But he's a really chill guy once you get past the "hey I just met you - and this is crazy, but you're really hot; so fuck me maybe?" schtick.

His gym's like a jungle and involves clambering around vines. You've probably seen enough hentai to know where this is going.

Her gym seems easy enough - low walls surround a field of flowers, and she stands in the middle. (She's also the first fucking gym!) Pity about those concealed warp points and invisible walls. (troll)

BURNINATING ALL YO SHIT. This gym is like Ignis in Pokemon Conquest - magma everywhere (yay)!! Hope you brought plenty of burn heals, because you'll be needing him.
